Reminder – Earlier this year (as we reported in this post ), the New Jersey Paid Sick Depart Act (NJPSLA) was permitted. On this circumstance, the employee is entitled to the severance package quantity stipulated by the Labour Regulation, which consists of the stipulated severance amount, the service appreciation amount and the compensation quantity (in other words, the fundamental amounts of the severance package parts, with none multiplication of the quantity).
If the dismissal is because of the employee’s violation of the phrases of the employment agreement, he or she is entitled to the usual severance pay, service appreciation pay and compensation.
